You delivery driver drove into my yard. I just had a sprinkler system put in and he drove over one of the water heads. When I answered the door I saw both his front and back tire in my grass. I went out to inspect and confirmed that he ran over the equipment. I’ll have it checked and need for 888 to be prepared to cover the repair costs, if any.

I came into the Dickinson 888 today with a party of 9 today, 1-20-14, to celebrate a co-worker's birthday. We choose this restaurant because the service is typically amazing and fast. However, today that service was horrible. 5 of us all got to the restaurant and had placed our orders by 12:05 pm with our waitress. Regardless, of how busy it was those orders should have come out prior to those who came later. Instead those orders came out at approximately 12:35 pm. We only get an hour for lunch. We did not have time to eat our food before we had to start packaging it up and paying our bills. We will rethink 888 as our choice for lunch celebrations in the future since the excuse we got today was because they were busy and that is why our service was poor. We too are busy at our jobs however we do not have the luxury of making excuses such as we are busy. We do not expect anything in return from this correspondence just simply would like to make sure that the service returns to what we had come to expect at 888. Thank you for your time.

Great atmosphere, good food, exemplary service. I recommend the lo mein, the hot & sour soup, the general Tso chicken, and the orange chicken. The egg rolls are the best in the area. Both the price and the food leave P F Chang's far behind. Why not 5 stars? I only hand those out if they can duplicate the experience the next time I come to call.

We have been here probably 10 times now, since it's one of the only Chinese restaurants in the Clear Lake area.We always ask for the Chinese menu, which is completely different from the American menu waitresses give you. The Chinese menu offers many more authentic dishes, instead of egg drop soup, egg rolls and broccoli beef offered on the American menu.

Really good Chinese for a decent price. Ordered the Orange chicken, Hunan beef,Pork and shrimp fried rice and some chicken lo mein and all were definitely tasty. The fried rice could've used less oil and more fry time, but all in all, it was a great meal. Will return again.

For the prices charged, it's great. There's better Chinese food but it'll cost you a lot more. The Hunan style chicken is my favorite there.

Not the best chinese food, definitely over priced...had the mango chicken.... The sauce was runny/thin and the flavor was very bland.... Also ordered the spring rolls.... They are tiny and also had little flavor....i will not be going back to this place again

This is probably one of my favorite Chinese restuarants. The service is great and the wait time isn't usually that long. Their hot and sour soup is my favorite. I'm not crazy about the clay pots; but that's just me. Their general tsos chicken is awesome. Whenever we are up towards 646, this is our restaurant of choice.

I just got the worst service from 888 in Dickinson. I got to pick up my one egg roll order, I have been doing this for 2 years at least twice a week, for lunch, and was told she will "let me pay" with a card this time but next time I needed to bring cash as it was under 5.00. I replied, "is this new, I have been doing this for 2 year?." She replied, "sometimes they don't like to tell people but it's policy, I'll do it for you this time." Just plain rude. I have no issue following policy, but don't make it seem like I am being done a favor when this has been a regular thing for years. i'm paying right? Guess what? I live up the street and we USED to order from you minimum twice a month. Not anymore. If I had been told politely this was a change, fine. That was not what happened. You lost my business.

I've ordered from here 3 times, and every time, it takes 1 1/2-2 hours for them to get my food to me. I don't order anything too crazy either. Just white rice and pork dumplings. Still takes that long. I also live right down 646, about 1 mile from them. The 888 in Clear Lake was always quick when I lived out there, so I don't know what the issue is with this location.

We decided to give this place a try after being disappointed with JBs. They have a pretty big menu. My boyfriend ordered the orange chicken, it tasted like your average run of the mill orange chicken. His daughter ordered her favorite sweet and sour chicken, the sauce was a little on the bland side, she didn't eat much of it. I got the mango chicken in garlic sauce. It wasn't quite what I expected but it was still good. We also ordered some crab puffs which were good and the smoked duck. The duck had good flavor but was a little dry for my liking and you don't get much for the price. The food was your average Chinese. I liked the big menu, but they seemed a little pricey.

Don't let the generic odd phone number like name fool or somewhat plain exterior fool you. 888 has some pretty tasty food and a nice decor. My wife and I were shocked to see how nice it was inside and were pleased with our dishes. It was also very open and quite.
